“石油之城，管道之都”、拥有大煤炭输出港……下午，“网络媒体河北行”采访团来到了东临渤海、北依京津、南望齐鲁的历史文化古城沧州市。
在沧州市经济社会发展情况说明会上，副市长宋有洪对沧州市情进行了介绍，市委常委、宣传部长李军主持会议。
        沧州区位优势，是被和河北省早确定的沿海开放地区之一，处于“两环”区域(环京津、环渤海)中心地带，素有京津南大门之称，在京津一小时经济圈之内。沧州交通便利，是国内道路交通为密集和发达的地区之一。黄骅港2003年建成通航，现已成为我国大煤炭输出港。
        今后，沧州市将围绕渤海新区带动、中心城市经济突破提升、县域经济腾飞升位“三大经济”战略，扬，求突破，打造沿海经济增长极。加快综合大港建设，努力实现黄骅港由单一的煤炭输出港向综合性大港的转变。
        沧州还有产业基础，现已形成以石油化工、管道装备、机械制造、纺织服装、食品加工为的五大产业新格局，是的“铸造之乡”、“金丝小枣之乡”、“鸭梨之乡”。鸭梨、金丝小枣、冬枣等产品以其的品质驰名，是传统的出口创汇产品。
